PARKING AT RCHS Students - Parking applications are available starting this morning and may be picked up at the school. Please see Ms. Donna May and she will provide you with the form. The fee this year is now $20. Tags will be available on the first day of school. We will have information about the "Personalized Spots" for Seniors on the first day of school so they need to wait till that time to get a form. We have 25 spots available for this at a cost of $40. Sophomores WILL NOT be able to park at this time. Once we have determined the total number of spots available we will possibly alter this, most likely, Sophomores will be able to park beginning the 2nd semester. Parking at RCHS is a privilege and not a guaranteed right. Rules and policies are found on the form. One major rule we will enforce this year is that of grades. At the end of each nine weeks, students MUST have a 2.0 GPA to park on the school property. It is important to note that the construction of the new SMS and the scheduled paving of RCHS parking and roads is impacting much of the student parking decisions for the 23/24 school year. Parking application is available at the school or on Schoology (Senior, Junior, and Sophomore "Groups")

I know many students and parents have been asking about parking. I would like to provide you the best information that I can at this time. Please understand that construction of SMS influences our timelines. Personalized Parking Spot information will be provided to seniors on the first day of school. Juniors and Seniors (who want a regular parking spot) will be able to get parking information on Monday, Aug. 7 **Parking permits will now cost $20 and Seniors who wish to personalize a spot must now pay $40 ***Due to construction and other considerations Sophomores WILL NOT be allowed to park on school property. The school will revisit and adjust this (as needed) beginning in Jan. of 2024***

ATTENTION JUNIOR AND SENIOR PARENTS If you recently received a mailing from the National Society of High School Scholars, please know that this is NOT a school-affiliated organization and is not the same organization as the National Honor Society. It is a legitimate organization, but not one we can endorse nor advise students on.
