We are so excited to invite our 1st graders and their parents to a very special opportunity to share the joy of reading and brighten someone's day.
On Monday, March 9, our 1st grade students and their families are invited to visit the Skilled Nursing Unit at Roane General Hospital to read aloud to the residents. This will be a sweet time for our students to practice their reading skills, build confidence, and most importantly, connect with members of our community in a meaningful way.
Please reach out to your child's teacher and let them know if you will be attending. We can't wait to see our 1st graders shine and spread kindness through the gift of reading.
