Charger cord and block

Students at Spencer Middle School are about to begin taking the yearly achievement test, WV General Summative Assessment.  The state of WV requires all students grades 3-8 to complete these tests in Math, Reading, Writing and for some grade levels, Science.  In recent years, WV has taken the WVGSA on an electronic platform.  This year, will be the first year that Roane County students will use their newly acquired iPads.  We have a problem though!  Our students don't know where their charger cord and blocks are located!  Many students have misplaced or lost their cords and blocks.  Every student was provided with an iPad, an iPad cover/keyboard and a charging cord and block.  Students must recover their cords and blocks.  We've had many reports of students leaving their cord and block plugged in a certain room and when they return to get it, it's gone.  We've also had students to loan their chargers to someone else and they never get them back.  The point is that the charger cord and block are the responsibility of the student and they will need them to fully charge their iPad for testing.  They will also need the cord and block to turn in with their iPad at the end of the school year.  If the students can't recover their charger cord and block they will be charged for each one of them.  The cord will be $20 and the block will be $20 to replace.  That's a total of $40.  Parents may think that they can just purchase a cord and block at the local gas station, but we cannot accept those in place of the Apple product that your students were given.  Using any other cord voids the warranty on the iPad.  Your student must return the iPad with an Apple cord and block.  Fifth and sixth grade students start testing next week, Tuesday, May 3rd.  Will your student be ready?  Will their iPad be fully charged?  Do you know where their charger cord and block is?
