We at Spencer Elementary School are committed to providing a safe and secure environment where all students in our community can grow and thrive. In order to align ourselves with current state policy, we have implemented a new pick-up/dismissal procedure. While this will undoubtedly cause some delay as we begin the year, we are confident that this will be effective in accomplishing our goal. Our single most import priority is to ensure ALL students return to their families safe at the end of the day.
A copy of our new pick-up/dismissal procedure is attached which also includes a copy of the State Code in which we strive to align.

Another school calendar reminder -- Kindergarten students will NOT attend school in-person tomorrow (Friday 4/15) so that our K teams can welcome next year's Kindergarteners for registration.
All other students will be released two hours early for Faculty Senate.
Look who came hopping down the Bunny trail!! Students had the opportunity to have their pictures taken last week. This week we are offering families the opportunity to have their pictures taken with ol' Peter himself. On Thursday, April 14 from 5:00-7:00, bring your family, pick a picture package, and document this moment in time!

Spencer Elementary students are learning about flying squirrels today, just like the characters in our book, “Nuts to You”! Please ask your child to tell you about Mr. Justin’s presentation! Thanks to PATCH for helping us out today!
