SMS Families: Report cards went home Friday! Join us Thursday for Yellow Jacket Day & a 5:30–6:30 tailgate before the big game. Friday is our “Scare Away Drugs” Costume Contest!

Good Evening Parents and Guardians, As a reminder, Spencer Middle School will be implementing the Signs of Suicide (SOS) program with students this week, September 29th - October 1st. The program helps kids recognize the warning signs of depression and suicide, and encourages them to seek help for themselves or a friend. Boys basketball tryouts are Tuesday, November 12th and Wednesday, November 13th after school until 6:00, they need to have a current physical along with tennis shoes/basketball shoes.

Each student was sent a link to their email for you to access a your students customized video report. On the score sheets is a website for you to visit to find out more information. Good Evening SMS Parents and Guardians, we will be having a PTO Meeting and Parent Volunteer Training tomorrow Wednesday, September 4th at 5:00 pm in the SMS cafeteria. These are great ways to get involved with the school and to support your students. We hope to see you there.

Good Evening SMS Parents and Guardians Our Open House will be taking place tomorrow Tuesday, August 20th from 5:30-7:30. Each grade level will attend at the following times: 5th grade at 5:30, 6th grade at 6:00, 7th grade at 6:30 and 8th grade at 7:00. We will have the Kona Italian Ice truck selling a cool tasty treat to help out our PBIS program. So come out and see the new school and meet our beautiful dog, Flora. We cannot wait to get this year started!! See you tomorrow.

Good Evening parents and guardians we are starting our That's My Pan! fundraiser. This is a school wide fundraiser and we are doing online orders. The flyer is posted to our Facebook. Hello All Parents and Guardians, We are having our Annual Title I Meeting on October 17, 2023 at 5:00 PM. We would like to have your input on different activities that we will offer during the school year. Come out and Join Us!

End of the 1st nine weeks is approaching. Report cards will be coming home the 18th of October. Students have a yellow communication folder with grade level newsletter that comes home every Monday. If your child has any makeup work, it needs to be turned into the teacher no later than October 11th.
