The Parent Advisory Council Meeting and the Family Math Night will be cancelled due to weather. Both will be rescheduled for Thursday, February 23. A new flyer will come home with new information.

Good Evening We have two messages from Geary School. Message 1 There will be a Parent Advisory Committee meeting this evening beginning at 3. We will be reviewing our Title 1 program. Message 2 Family Math Night will begin at 4. It is for grades K-4. It will be held in the cafeteria. We will have lots of games and prizes. The smoothie bicycle will also be there! All the fun begins at 4 and lasts until 6 pm. Message 3 The Archery program will begin next week on February 21 @ 5 pm. Thank you and have a great day.

Good afternoon. Geary School has four messages. Message one - There will a school dance Monday evening. Grades Kindergarten through fourth grade may stay after school with a permission slip to attend the dance. These students will ride the late bus home. Students in grades fifth through eighth may arrive at 4:30 for their dance. Parents will need to pick up students at 6 pm. Entry into the dance is 5 dollars. Students may have a winter wonderland picture taken for 5 dollars. Concessions will also be sold. Students in grades Kindergarten through fourth grade will not be able to call home tomorrow to ask permission to stay for the dance. Message two - There will be a booster meeting Monday evening at 6 pm Message three - There will be a Parent Advisory Committee meeting Tuesday @ 3:30 pm in the Title 1 room. Third - Math Field Day is on Friday, January 6. Fourth - There will be a home game Friday at 6 against Spencer. We would like to encourage students to wear black and gold on Friday to support the players. If you are able, please come out to the game Friday evening.

The lunch times are as follows Prekindergarten through second, 10:30 to 11:00, third through fifth is 11:15-11:45, and sixth through eighth is 12:00 through 12:30. Again the cost is 10 dollars a meal and you can pay when you arrive. Lunches can be eaten at the school or taken home. Please call the school to reserve your dinner. Thank you and have a great day.

Good Evening, This is the last week for Geary School's pepperoni roll fundraiser. If you would like to order pepperoni rolls, you can call Geary School. Pepperoni rolls are 3 dollars each and will be ready for pick up at the school on Saturday, November 19 at noon. All orders need to be prepaid by Friday, November 18. ALL MONEY GOES TO THE GENERAL FUND TO SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS. MESSAGE 2 THERE WILL BE A SOUTHERN ROANE TRAILBLAZERS 4-H CLUB MEETING ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH AT 7 PM IN THE CAFETERIA. Good Afternoon. Geary School has three announcements. Next week will begin Red Ribbon Week. Monday will be "Wake Up Drug Free" - Students may wear pajamas to school. Tuesday will be "Team Up Against Drugs" - Students are encouraged to wear their favorite team shirt. Wednesday will be "It's Crazy to do Drugs" - Students may wear crazy socks, hair, or clothes. Thursday will be "Friends Don't Let Friends Do Drugs" - Students can dress like a twin with a friend. Friday will be "Say Boo to Drugs" - Students may wear a costume - No masks or face paint. All clothing must follow school dress code. Second Announcement - On Wednesday, there will be a three hour early dismissal. Buses will leave at 11:30 to bring students home. Third Announcement - On Friday, Geary School PTO will have a Trunk or Treat beginning at 6 pm in the school parking lot. Come and join in with our trunk or treat. There will be haunted hallway inside the school. The cost is 5 dollars a person if you dare to try and make it through. The PTO will also be showing Halloween Cartoons on the big screen at no cost.
