Come out and get some beautiful flower baskets for Mother's Day coming up. Also we have a community yard sale going on in the school parking lot. Come down and look around! All are welcome! Good Evening, Geary School has two announcements. Announcement 1: Just a reminder that Field Day shirt orders are due tomorrow, April 19th. Forms were sent home with students or can be found on the Geary PTO Facebook page or simply write your students name and shirt size on a slip of paper and return to school with the attention of PTO Field Day shirts. Please send in $2 for each shirt ordered. Announcement 2: Summer Sole and Energy Express forms have been sent home. If you would like your child to participate in Summer Sole and Energy Express this summer please call the school. There will be a lot of learning and special activities going on this summer, and we hope to see you there! Thank you and have a good evening!

Good Evening, For 8th grade parents and student, 8th grade night will be tomorrow at Roane County High School from 4 to 6. they will be working on class schedule and participating in a Gear Up Transition to High School event. A letter was sent home with students to review and their PEPs will be sent home tomorrow to review for scheduling. If you are unable to attend please see attached letter for alternate dates or call the high school at 304.927.6420 to schedule a time with the school counselors. Good afternoon. Geary School has four messages. Message one - There will a school dance Monday evening. Grades Kindergarten through fourth grade may stay after school with a permission slip to attend the dance. These students will ride the late bus home. Students in grades fifth through eighth may arrive at 4:30 for their dance. Parents will need to pick up students at 6 pm. Entry into the dance is 5 dollars. Students may have a winter wonderland picture taken for 5 dollars. Concessions will also be sold. Students in grades Kindergarten through fourth grade will not be able to call home tomorrow to ask permission to stay for the dance. Message two - There will be a booster meeting Monday evening at 6 pm Message three - There will be a Parent Advisory Committee meeting Tuesday @ 3:30 pm in the Title 1 room.
