Geary Elementary/Middle School

Geary School has 4 announcements: 1) Band and Choir student fundraiser materials have arrived at the school and are ready for delivery. Your student should have brought them home today if they sold anything. 2) 6th, 7th, and 8th grade band members are invited to participate in all county band on February 28th. A permission slip was sent home Friday of last week and extras are available upon request. Students will be able to ride their bus to the high school and back home afterwards. 3) There will be a Parent/Teacher Conference and Math Night on Feb. 25th from 4-6. Sign up sheets went home with students. Please contact your child's teacher if you need a form. 4) There will be a Parent Advisory Committee meeting on Feb. 26th at 8 am. Good evening, Mr. Metzger would like to remind our band members and parents that the band will be playing at the home basketball game, Tuesday the 11th against Elkvalley Christian School. Students will need to be dropped off at the main entrance by 5:30 and will need picked up after the game. Students are requested to wear yellow and black for the game. At Geary School, we will have a parent luncheon on Friday, February 14th. Forms have been sent home with students, and there is also a form in the newsletter that was sent home this week. Good Morning, Please be reminded that students in grades 3-8 will be taking the State Benchmark Assessment this coming week. Please help your child do their best by making sure they are well rested and at school. Geary Staff would like to let you know: 1. Please encourage your child to log into their Teams meeting today with their teachers. 2. We will not be having Parent/Teacher Conferences this evening. Conferences will be rescheduled. 3. The game that was scheduled for this evening against Webster has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. 4. This is a reminder that tomorrow, December 10, 2024, Geary PTO will be taking Pictures with Santa from 9 am -11 am. Younger siblings are welcome. Good afternoon, We have 2 announcements: First announcement: Lady Panther parents, the first girls basketball practice will begin on Wednesday, November 6th. Practice this week will be from 2:30-4 pm. Students will need to be either picked up or ride the 4 pm bus home. Students must have a current physical in order to practice. Second announcement: Our Veterans Day concert will be Friday, November 8th at 12:30 in the gymnasium. We request students wear red, white, and blue to school.
